We, the people of the Wooden Chapel of the Transfiguration Orthodox Church in Panama City, Florida, trust that we are called by All Mighty God to learn, adopt, and follow, the divine teaching of our Savior, Jesus Christ, through out the experience of the life of the Early Church Tradition along with the Scriptures of the New and Old Testaments;

We Confess the Nicene Creed of the Faith from the 4th Century Constantinople; admire the Teaching of the Church Fathers of the Seven Ecumenical Councils. Our place of worship is considered to be fully Sacramental, Christ centered & Bible based environment, open to all;

We Believe, that Christ is embracing all the nations through their own ‘Ethnos’ and Culture; therefore, in our place any ethnic background is highly respected; In our Community of Faith, we seek to implement fraternal love and equality by supporting and calling one another to ongoing process of the spiritual perfection;

We Strive to be sensitive to our social and communal responsibilities within the Biblical principals. In the Wooden Chapel, the life long Christian Education of adults and family is essential;

We admit that our Judeo-Christian identity of its very nature is to be nourished and shared. We strive for the excellency of Faith, Love, Truth and hope to be adopted and implemented in each person to foster an atmosphere which supports the spiritual formation of all!
